Once again this Thursday the Rotary Club of Waterbury presents FREE musical concerts at the Rusty Parker Memorial Park in Waterbury.
This week, the Funky Crustaceans will perform New Orleans Rhythm and Blues. Come join the hundreds of family and friends that bring their lawn chars, blankets and dinner. You may also purchase food from a variety of vendors on site. As usual, the Rotary will be serving free Ben & Jerry's ice cream and selling 50/50 raffle tickets. Proceeds from the raffle go directly to defray the cost of the bands. Come early and shop at the Farmers market from 3:00 -7:000 pm. On the following Thursday June 22nd, the Apothicarians will perform American Folk, R&B and alternative country reggae. The concerts are free thanks to the Rotary and these generous sponsors: Jamieson Insurance Agency, Sun Common, Northfield Savings bank, Napa Auto, Waterbury Veterinary Hospital, Grenier Consulting Engineers, Darby, Thorndike, Kolter & Nortle Attorneys, The Alchemist, Hannon Home Center, Waterbury Family Dentist, Park Row Cafe, Arvad's Grill & Pub, Dave's Community Fitness, The Blackback Pub, Sun Common, Waterbury Farmers Market, Ben & Jerry's, The Waterbury Record and the Valley Reporter.
