If you haven’t yet heard, Shelburne Vineyard is about to make headlines as the first New England Winery to break the mold and put your favorite wine in a can. Welcome “Capsize,” the newest addition to the SV menu. The canning line will be here at the Vineyard all day, Wednesday and Thursday, June 21-22, and the cans can hit your back-pack right off the line. So mark your calendar and come on down either day to be part of the debut! And don’t worry, we’ll still be selling all your old favorites in bottles, we’re just giving you a new way – an adventurous way, a light-weight way, an easy to recyle way to take your favorite wine with you wherever you go.

Capsize is a new wine—a little off-dry white blend of our Louise Swenson and La Crescent, and it’s in a single-serve 250ml can (or a 4-pak)—the perfect companion for your summer and winter adventures. Tuck it in your pack, put it in your pocket, drink it right from the can at your picnic or when you’re home alone…. the possibilities never end! It’s about a glass and a half of wine and “if you flip the boat, the can will float!
