Greetings,

Have you ever thought it would be great to have a hiking trail in the Middlesex Town Forest? If yes, consider joining the conservation commission and your neighbors for a day of trail work on June 24! A flag line has been carefully laid out and the time to begin construction has come. We will meet at the end of Notch Road at 9:00 a.m. and will be focused on light trail work, mostly clearing vegetation from around the treadway. Please RSVP to this post if you intend to come or have questions. Parking is limited, so we may park some cars at the nearby town gravel pit and ferry volunteers to the trail head. What to bring:

-loppers
-small hand saws
-work gloves
-snacks and water
-a good attitude

The CC has a couple pairs of loppers, folding saws, and several pairs of work gloves.
