Don and Lela Avery have invited Morrisville Coop members, and the general public who might be curious about MoCo, to enjoy an evening in their gardens at Cady’s Falls. With humble beginnings in the 1980’s, the Avery’s gardens and nursery have come to be recognized as one of the horticultural highlights of New England. The nursery has a reputation for propagating rare and unusual plants such as native lady slippers, rock garden plants , dwarf conifers, Itoh hybrid peonies and Asian woodlanders. After 37 years in business, the nursery will be closing this year. This Tuesday will be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the lushness of the gardens on a warm June evening and to with mingle with like-minded MoCo folk.
