All Bolton Valley Residents are invited to a community meeting at Bailey’s Restaurant on Saturday, June 10 at 8:30 a.m. to discuss the future of Bolton Valley Resort and the Community Water and Sewer System. Coffee and pastries will be served.
By now, you’ve almost certainly heard that the resort has transferred ownership from Larry Williams and Doug Nedde to a group of local investors headed up by the DesLauriers family.
We have spent the first couple of months since the sale reacquainting ourselves with every part of the operation and working with the resort’s management team to identify the next steps to bring more vibrancy to the mountain.
We have some exciting plans in store and would love the opportunity to share them with you and to hear your ideas for how we can work together to make this mountain an even better place for us all to live and for the broader community to come and enjoy everything the mountains and resort have to offer.
In addition to purchasing the resort, the same group is also in the process of taking over ownership and management of the water and sewer utility. As many of you know, the water and sewer systems have been struggling in recent years to keep up with the demand for water and to address the aging infrastructure.
There is work to be done to ensure that these utilities will be able to provide high quality and consistent service to our community and we would like to share our findings and discuss the path forward with you.
We hope to see you there!
Our best, Ralph, Evan, and Lindsay DesLauriers
