Hunger Mountain Children's Center, located at 123 South Main Street in Waterbury, is hosting a training conducted by Prevent Child Abuse Vermont on Friday, June 9th from 9:00am-12:00pm.

The training is titled "Understanding & Responding to the Sexual Behavior of Children" and is designed to promote adult understanding of the range of children's sexual behavior, including behaviors that are developmentally expected, concerning and abusive. It will explore issues of consent, equality, and coercion among children, as well as teach appropriate adult responses in order to intervene earlier in the development of concerning or sexually abusive patterns.
