There's another packed schedule of community events planned for this summer and fall at the Brookfield Old Town Hall on Stone Road, just past the floating bridge.
Join us for our season opening community pot luck supper this Saturday, June 10th, beginning at 6 pm, featuring music by Bear Mountain Jammers and the Arts Bus activities for kids. Bring your favorite dish to share, along with your own plates, cups, and utensils, and join friends and neighbors for a fun late spring gathering.
Then, on Monday, June 12th, meet with your local state representatives for a Vermont legislative session update and Q&A, starting at 7 pm. Ben Jickling, Mark McDonald and Jay Hooper have all been asked to attend.
On Tuesdays, beginning June 13th 6:30-7:30 pm, our popular all-levels yoga with Deonne Myrick returns. Bring your mat, or borrow one of ours. Classes are only $5/adult and kids under 18 are free.
On Thursday evening June 15th at 7 pm, come and learn about Vermont's "special" places and hidden treasures with Brookfield's own Jon Binhammer of the Nature Conservancy.
And that's just Week One! To request a postcard of our full 2017 program of events (over 3 dozen!) or to sign up to receive event information and details via email, send an email request to brookfieldoth@gmail.com.
