Many artists share their art and creative process in special ways with members of the community. What is the function of the art itself in this sharing process? How are the community members enriched by this sharing? And what gifts does the artist receive back from this experience? “Healing with Art: Community” is a panel discussion in which several artists from our area will address these questions and share their art. This event will take place on June 14 at 6 p.m., at 118 Elliot Street in Brattleboro.  Snacks will be provided, admission is free, and the public is warmly invited.  Individuals are invited to stay afterwards for an opportunity to mix and mingle with the artists.  The forum is a part of the healing with art series presented by the Vermont Arts Council and the Arts Council of Windham County (ACWC), and is co-sponsored by The Brattleboro Retreat.  Visit www.acwc.us for details!
