Once again, this Thursday, the Rotary Club of Waterbury presents FREE musical concerts at the Rusty Parker Memorial Park in Waterbury Village.
This week, "Big Hat No Cattle" will perform old and new songs in a vintage western style. Come join the hundreds of family and friends that bring their lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic dinner or purchase from a variety of vendors on site. As usual, the Rotary will be serving free ice cream selling the 50/50 raffle tickets. Proceeds from the raffle go directly to defraying the cost of the bands. Come early and shop from the numerous booths set up by the Waterbury Farmers Market 3:00-7:00 pm. On the following Thursday, June 15th the Funky Crustaceans will perform New Orleans Rhythm and Blues. The 2017 concerts are free thanks to the Rotary and generous sponsors: Jamieson Insurance Agency, Sun Common, Northfield Savings Bank, Napa Auto, Waterbury Veterinary Hospital, Grenier Consulting Engineers, Darby Thorndike Kolter & Nordle Attorneys, The Alchemist, Hannon Home Center, Waterbury Family Dentist, Arvad's Bar & Grill, Park Row Cafe, The Blackback Pub, Dave's Community Fitness, Ben & Jerry's, Waterbury Farmers Market, Waterbury Record and the Valley Reporter.
Happy 80th Anniversary goes out to the Waterbury Rotary Club current and past members! Listen to WDEV Radio 550am in the afternoon for notice of concert cancellations.
