Angela Palm’s first book, "Riverine: a memoir from anywhere but here" won the Graywolf Press Nonfiction Prize and was a “Powerful Memoir by Powerful Women” pick by Oprah.com. This lyrical, haunting, and intelligent memoir explores the intersection of place and identity to probe questions of belonging, deviance, fate, and family. It is a moving exploration of life in America’s heartland. Angela has taught creative writing at Champlain College, the New England Young Writers’ Conference, and elsewhere. Books available to purchase thanks to Next Chapter Bookstore. A signing and light refreshments follow the program. Program takes place in the Milne Community Room of the Aldrich Public Library
