If you've been following the conversations about development in our neighborhood, you may be interested to know that the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce has received funding from the Kauffman Foundation to create "Let's Talk Progress" a community dialogue around "what Burlington could be and how Smart Growth can help us get there."

Part of this initiative is a speaker series, and the first event is Tuesday, June 6 at Main Street Landing's Black Box Theatre from 5-7pm, featuring economist Joe Minicozzi, who "uses simple math to guide the reshaping of urban spaces to honor historical and environmental values while creating prosperity and driving social equity."
