Re-Entry Panel Volunteer Training

Past event
Jun 7, 2017, 4 to 6 PM

This FREE training is open to interested individuals in our community.

Re-Entry Panels are made up of teams of 3-5 volunteers who meet with offenders and victims of crimes to address the harm caused by low to mid-level crimes in the community. The mission of the panels is to hold an offender accountable for the effects of their actions on others, and whenever possible repair the harm caused to the victim and community through restorative activities. They discuss the circumstances and impact of the crime and ways the offender can avoid making similar mistakes in the future.

The training will be held at BROC Community Action, 45 Union Street in Rutland. To register contact Jason Dumaine at 665-1746 or jdumaine@broc.org.
