CHOROMONDO- World Music Women’s Choir

Choromondo is a dynamic, women’s community choir from the border villages of Quebec and northern Vermont. The women sing traditional music from around the globe as well as a variety of music in English and French from sources closer to home. Their unique and colorful attire and passionate love of music ensures these performances will captivate their audiences. Artist and composer Allyna Harris has inspired and directed these women for the past 18 years.
This year’s concert includes music from South Africa, Spain, Russia, Argentina, Bulgaria, Republic of Georgia, Croatia, Ukraine and more.
All profits to benefit Cornucopia, (a program of Umbrella- Newport) a vocational program to assist women in transition.
