Intermission

Winifred Walsh Doane "Creative Memoirs And The Aging Mind."

Our honored guest, Winifred Walsh Doane, has been a part-time Richmond resident for many years after retiring as an internationally recognized geneticist and wondering what comes next. She found one answer in writing. Winifred Walsh Doane grew up on City Island, NYC. After graduation from Hunter College she pursued a career in biology and served on the faculty of Yale University for 15 years. In 1977 she moved to Arizona State University as Professor of Zoology (genetics) from which she retired in 1998.

$10 Contribution appreciated to support the Community Senior Center’s work.
