Jericho Planning Commission Meeting June 6

The Planning Commission is meeting Tuesday June 6th from 7-9 pm in the Jericho Town Hall. The following items are on the agenda:

- Public Comment – this is the time for the public to speak to items on and not on the agenda.

- The Planning Commission will continue their public hearing on the “low hanging fruit” Zoning Regulations. These are the changes that that were discussed in April over Front Porch Forum and on the Town website. The public may comment during this time on the proposed changes. For more information on the changes, please visit the Planning Commission page of the Town website at https://goo.gl/xCBn29. After the public hearing, they will discuss the comments received and decide how to proceed. They may choose to make changes to the proposed draft, further discuss changes or send it on to the Selectboard for their public hearings.

- The Planning Commission will discuss energy planning and respond to the Regional Planning Commission’s draft energy plan for the town. More information on regional energy planning may be found on the CCRPC website: http://www.ccrpcvt.org/our-work/our-plans/regional-energy-plan/

- They will then discuss steps forward in their planning for the next few months as well as longer range planning. As well as comments received at their monthly public comment meetings.
