The Planning Commission is engaged in drafting changes to the Town’s By-Laws that will bring Bristol’s zoning ordinances into conformity with the new Town Plan. Our deliberations are organized around the Rural/Agricultural, Rural Conservation, and Village Planning Areas. We concluded our initial deliberations on the Rural/Agricultural Planning Area at our May 21st meeting and on the Rural Conservation Planning Area at our November 5th meeting. We will begin deliberations on the Village Planning District in December. Adam Lougee, Director of the Addison County Regional Planning Commission, continues to serve as the Planning Commission’s consultant in this process.
Public comments on tonight’s agenda will be called for at an appropriate juncture during the deliberations. We will hear public comments on other topics of concern at the conclusion of our evening’s deliberations.
Our next meeting is scheduled for December 17th, 2013 at 7pm.
