Hogback Bird Walk with Bob Engel, Saturday

Past event
Jun 3, 2017, 8 to 10 AM

By early June the mating season will be coming to a close, so the lively litany of bird songs will be subsiding, but it still will be a good time to take a walk focused on birds. Join avid bird watcher (and listener) Bob Engel, Marlboro College Professor Emeritus of Biology and Environmental Science, on an easy ramble around the former ski area on the south side of the Hogback Mountain Conservation Area in Marlboro. We'll pass through a variety of habitat types, so should have a chance to see and hear a wide variety of birds. Meet in the parking lot on the south side of Route 9 just west of the gift shop. More info at hogbackvt.org, or email us at hmca@hogbackvt.org.
