This past April marked the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Camp David. On Sunday, June 4 at 2:00, Don Keelan will give a presentation on how Franklin D. Roosevelt established the retreat as his "second home" and how much he was involved in having it constructed to serve as his home away from the White House and his Hyde Park estate. Keelan will also briefly cover how our presidents who succeeded FDR used the camp. Keelan was member of President Eisenhower's Marine Security Guard and spent a considerable amount of time at Camp David.
