PROGRAM at 6:45 PM: Join us to enjoy a presentation by Grace Gershuny. Grace, a resident of Barnet, Vermont, was a founding member of the organic movement and has chronicled those early years and the evolution of organic agriculture in her book, Organic Revolutionary. She has author numerous books. She has been active on both the local & national level in developing both policy and public awareness about the importance of food production and accessibility. She will talk about her experiences as a NOFA (Northeast Organic Farmers Association) in the Northeast Kingdom in the '70s and how that work relates to current concerns about organic regulations.
