Stowe's tradition of having the Memorial Day Parade on the real Memorial Day continues. This year it will be on Tuesday May 30th. It will start at the Elementary School at 10 AM and will proceed to Main Street, up Maple Street to Riverbank Cemetery for a brief service. The Parade then returns to the Memorial Building front steps for a wreath laying and gun salute to our departed veterans. All area veterans and their families are welcome and urged to participate in the parade and ceremonies. The Stowe High School band will participate and add marching decorum to the ceremony and Parade.
