The Future of Health Care Tuesday

Past event
May 30, 2017, 6 PM

With the future of the Affordable Care Act hanging in the balance, now is the time to decide what direction access to health care goes in America. How do we affordably provide health care for everyone?

Is Bernie’s plan for expanding Medicare to everyone the answer? With 30 million Americans over the age of 65, Medicare provides care to seniors with much lower overhead than private insurance companies.

How do we effectively advocate for the future of health care for our families?

Come join the discussion with Dr. Marvin Malek, Medical Director of the Hospitalist Program at Springfield Hospital, and talk about the proposed Single Payer National Health Insurance and how it might be the answer.

This program is sponsored by Vermont Physicians for A National Health Program.

Join us at the Rochester Public Library Tuesday, May 30th at 6:00 to watch a documentary and discuss the options. Childcare will be provided.
