We are excited to welcome VPR to this event! They will be here recording the entire session to use parts of it for a later story.
“Moth Girl Dreaming” is a live storytelling event organized for the school and larger community. The first half of the event will feature students from Westford Elementary School presenting dramatic readings of selected texts from Brown Girl Dreaming, poems of their own, as well as engage in a community storytelling. The second half of the event will be open to everyone and organized around a theme! The theme of the storytelling portion will be “Growing Up.” All are welcome to join in the fun. Refreshments served.

This is our final event in the grant from the Vermont Humanities Council and its Vermont Reads program.
