Come see this unusual retrospective show at Walkover Gallery at 15 Main St in Bristol this weekend featuring artist and activist Grace Spring and her life spanning 50 years, including her clay sculptures, drawings, life-size papier-mache sculptures, paintings and puppets. Grace Spring is the mother of Cassandra Corcoran and now resides in Middlebury. She was also a civil rights activist who worked for the Poor People's Campaign in Washington DC and was a founding member of the International Campaign for Tibet in 1988. For 25 years, once a week, without fail, Grace held a silent vigil outside the chinese Embassy in Washington, DC to protest the occupation of Tibet.
