The Burke Conservation Commission and the Burke Mountain Club invite you to have a close-up look at one of the most relentless predators of the skies. The owl has a mystical reputation. It is silent in flight with unrivaled hearing and sight. It can hunt in total darkness, catching prey with uncanny consistency. And it can deliver messages to fledgling wizards (just kidding)! We will learn to distinguish fact from fiction as we gain a better understanding of this majestic bird.
