Hello neighbors, This Memorial Day weekend, on Saturday May 27th and Sunday May 28th, from 10 am - 5 pm, three artists in Hinesburg will open their doors for visitors to stop by and view their artwork and find out about their process.
Fiona Cooper Fenwick, Hayden Hill Rd. W, is a Landscape painter, working primarily in oil, painting plein air – out in the open air. “To stand in the world, and just take real notice of where I am, is the greatest gift. I feel fortunate to call painting my lifes work”.
Marian Willmott, 1617 Hayden Hill Rd. W, paints landscape, still life and portraits in oil, along with some monoprints. She works directly and intuitively, responding to form as it is created by light and to the essence of the landscape.
John Lomas, 2778 Shelburne Falls Rd, is a custom furniture maker who crafts each piece by hand and to order.
