Burlington College's Institute for Civic Engagement presents its latest lecture in the series "Race & Racism." The series explores the new face of racism and America's new Apartheid. This week’s offering is a lecture on Burlington’s Church Street ordinance and the suit against the City, entitled: “Who Gets to Use Public Space?” It will be presented by John Franco on Wednesday, November 13th at 6:15 PM in Room 253 at Burlington College.
John Franco is an attorney with extensive experience in public service, including serving as City Attorney during Senator Bernie Sanders’ stint as Mayor of Burlington. Mr. Franco has a private law practice dedicated to serving the needs of working Vermonters and small businesses.
