Elan Ballet Theatre (and Elan Academy of Classical Ballet) will be appearing at CVU (Champlain Valley Union High School) June 3rd and 4th, at 3:30 pm, with a very exciting, yet family friendly line-up. Fortitude, a series of contemporary dance pieces will be performed by Elan Dance Theatre, and also features two outstanding vocal performances by local musicians. Elan Ballet Theatre will then present the haunting Reve de Lune, set to works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Debussy. The feature ballet of the afternoon is La Boutique Fantasque (the Enchanted Toy Shop) with music by Rossini & Respighi. This classical story ballet takes place in a Victorian Toy Shop, where the dolls come to life to save the fates of their beloved friends, the Can-Can Dolls. This is an absolutely lovely production for all ages! Ticket prices for Adults are $15, Seniors and Children 12 and under are $12.
