WHAT: Green Mountain at Fox Run’s Women’s Center for Binge & Emotional Eating is pleased to announce a FREE Support Group for help in understanding struggles with EATING BEHAVIOR.
WHEN: Wednesdays at 6p beginning June 7th, 2017.
WHO: Women in the nearby area who are interested in talking about, learning about and understanding struggles with eating behavior.**
WHY: Have you ever turned to your favorite “forbidden” food at the end of a long stressful day? Have you tried every diet under the sun but seem to “fail” every time? Do you wonder why you just can’t stop eating those foods, even though they’re not good for you? Do you find yourself sneaking food? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we can help. Food and weight related struggles are difficult and seem never ending. This is what we focus on at the Women’s Center for Binge & Emotional Eating – supporting women in gaining freedom from eating and weight struggles. This support group is free and intended to help you understand your eating/weight related struggles and answer any related questions. The group will be led by therapists who are trained and specialize in eating behavior.**
HOW: To join, please call 802-975-0435 or email shiri@fitwoman.com
** This group is not a therapy group, but a discussion and support group. However, if desired, we do offer insurance reimbursable therapy on a sliding scale fee for local women.
