As part of the Friends’ Memorial Day Chapel Opening, local historian Don Jackson and other Civil War History re-enactors and buffs will be leading a walking tour through Lakeview Cemetery (455 North Avenue, Burlington), highlighting Civil War veterans buried at Lakeview. Learn a little about the soldiers from Vermont, and those who chose to settle here after the war, while also enjoying a stroll through Burlington’s only Victorian Park Cemetery.
