Informational Meeting at Homeshare Vermont Nov. 13!

Past event
Nov 13, 2013, 5 to 5:30 PM

Could you benefit from rental income or money toward the heating bill? Would you like someone to help with household chores like shoveling the walkway? Are you worried about spending another winter alone? Could you benefit by hiring in-home care? HomeShare Vermont can help!

HomeShare Vermont is a local non-profit with over 30 years of experience matching people together to create compatible living arrangements. There are no age or income requirements to homeshare; if you have a spare room in your home then you could benefit! Let us do the work- HomeShare Vermont will advertise your space, conduct background and reference checks, and interview all applicants looking for housing. We will introduce you to pre-screened candidates and you choose who you'd like to live with.

Many people might not know that we also have caregivers available to be hired on an hourly or around-the-clock basis for those who might need more help than a homesharer would provide. Our self-directed model of care is often a more inexpensive option to receive in-home care and you choose who you'd like to hire. Hiring caregiver support could be the difference between being able to stay in your own home or moving to a facility and HomeShare Vermont has qualified and dependable caregivers ready to work!

Learn more about HomeShare Vermont's programs at our informational meeting this Wednesday, November 13 at 5:00 pm. The meeting will be held at our office located at 412 Farrell Street in South Burlington. You're welcome to bring a friend or relative bu please RSVP by calling (802) 863-5625 or emailing home2@sover.net.
