The League of Women Voters of the Northeast Kingdom is co-presenting another program with The St. Johnsbury Athenaeum called Beyond Polarity: Stories of Civil Civic Dialogue. Susan Clark will present research and stories to bring to life why now, more than ever, ordinary people can make meaningful change happen through creative, civil civic dialogue. Susan is a facilitator and co-author of the books Slow Democracy: Rediscovering Community, Bringing Decision Making Back Home and All Those in Favor (with Frank Bryan). She is also the Town Moderator of Middlesex, Vermont. This event is taking place at the St. Johnsbury Athenaeum on Wednesday, May 31st at 7:00 PM.
