The spring migration has brought many beautiful birds back to Vermont.
If you love art, birds and the Missisquoi Wildlife Refuge, come on out to the annual "Art on the Refuge" show. About 20 artists share work inspired by birds and landscape in a variety of two-dimensional media. It opens Fri. May 19th, with an artists' reception from 5:30-6:30 (light refreshments). That will be followed by a talk on birds and migration by Maeve Kim. The show coincides with International Migratory Bird Day at the refuge on Saturday, which is year has the theme "Helping Birds Along the Way." Art will be on display at Refuge Visitor Center, 29 Tabor Road in West Swanton, until July 21.
