Enosburgh Community Recreation and the EFMHS Youth Risk Behavior Survey team present the first-ever Youth Appreciation Day! Why Youth Appreciation Day? YRBS students learned that more than half of our middle/high school students don't feel they matter to people in their community. We want to show our support for young people.

This week, stop in at Tammy's Hair Care, the Flying Disc, and Parkside Grill and leave a note in the YAD comment boxes telling young people what you appreciate about them.

On Sunday, bring you kids out for YAD! Events include:
9-11: A pancake breakfast for youth at the American Legion Hall on Depot St.!
Noon: yoga and whiffle ball in Lincoln Park - bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the afternoon!
Interested in Ultimate Frisbee? Bring sneakers and prepare to do some running!

What else can adults do everyday? Smile, say hello, and offer kind words.
