Theatre Kavanah presents a staged reading of “Anna’s Journal,” an original screenplay by Vermont author/educator Joy Kipp, directed by Wendi Stein. Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center, Corner of Lake and College Streets, Burlington.

Welcome to the world of 13-year-old Anna Ludkin, a Jewish girl growing up in rural Vermont. Shortly after the events of 9/11, Anna's life takes a series of intriguing turns when 16-year old Jamal, a Muslim, enters her world, and her heart. As Anna's and Jamal's stories become intertwined, provocative questions arise, as well as a mystery that Jamal feels compelled to solve.
