The 7 PM November 20th meeting of the Wards 4 and 7 Neighborhood Planning Assemblies (NPA) at the Miller Center is going to be really interesting. Proponents of adding more roundabouts to our roadways will be making a presentation at the meeting. They will be showing us a plan for a potential North Avenue Corridor which incorporates this mechanism for traffic circulation. This presentation will enable all of us to make more informed decisions about whether or not we favor the use of roundabouts on the roads in our neighborhoods.

Tony Redington, an expert on transportation planning and roundabouts decided to retire in Burlington. He volunteered for the North Avenue Corridor Study and is using his expertise to advise the community on its future traffic planning.

Also at this meeting, Mike McGarchan will offer his interpretations of what the Constitution says about gun owners' rights. Like our presentation on roundabouts, Mr. McGarchan’s presentation will provide us with more information on a complex topic. As usual, we will have reports from elected and appointed officials, plus, by popular demand, our SPEAK OUT session.
