An Evening with Moira McCarthy Stanford, Host of Despite Diabetes

As members of the Type-One Diabetes Advisory Council at the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital, we work to create opportunities for families living with type-1 diabetes to come together to connect and learn from each other. The Advisory Council has offered community meetings such as Taking Diabetes to School and Sports and Diabetes.

We all have stories about how type-1 diabetes has changed our lives. Sharing these stories, as well as information about the latest research into better treatment options and one day a cure, provides hope and inspiration to continue the good fight against this relentless disease.

The UVM Children’s Hospital Type 1 Diabetes Advisory Council in collaboration with JDRF, is pleased to present an evening with Moira McCarthy Stanford on May 18th in the Sullivan Room at the University of Vermont Medical Center from 6:30-8:30 p.m. We invite you to join us for a free, informative presentation and discussion.
