Highgate Volunteer Fire Department BBQ and Auction

Price: $10 for the BBQ
The Highgate Volunteer Fire Department & Auxiliary will be hosting their Annual Chicken BBQ on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29th starting at 11am. Be sure to stop by the park in Highgate Center and pick up the best BBQ chicken meal around for only $10 (meal consists of 1/2 chicken, coleslaw, roll, pickle, baked potato & milk or water). There will also be other festivities happening in the park for Highgate’s Annual Memorial Day celebration, so be sure to plan on staying around for a bit!
The Annual HVFD Auction will follow the Memorial Day Parade, which will starts promptly at 1pm and travels through the center of town.
Auction Items Needed: We are looking for items that are in good, usable condition. This year we will not be accepting any donations of electronics, books, clothing, broken items or items that will not sell. Auction Item Drop-Off Times: The fire station will be open to drop off auction items: every Friday in May from 1-4 and every Saturday in May from 9-1, as well as on Sunday, May 28th from 9-4. Items will not be accepted after 4pm on May 28th.
All the funds raised through our Annual BBQ and Auction go right back into the Highgate Volunteer Fire Department and the Highgate Community.
