Internationally acclaimed pianist and teacher DIANE HULING will give a hometown recital in Cabot on Sunday, November 17 at 3:00 PM in the Cabot United Church. Ms. Huling’s program, A Forgotten Waltz and a Few Favorites will range from familiar works of Chopin, Mozart and Beethoven to lesser known pieces by Rachmaninoff, Debussy and Liszt. Admission will be by donation, and refreshments will be offered. The event is produced by Cabot Arts, the new task force formed in response to last winter's Council on Rural Development workshops. It will be the first in a monthly series of concerts. Coming up on December 29 will be an Old-Timey New Year and Cajun Dance with Katire Trautz, Shady Rill and friends.
