As many of you have heard, The Little River Mountain Bike Trails are VERY wet. We are planning a trail night this Wednesday to go clear drainages, and repair damage from the riders who got on it early this season. Our hope is to get the trail in a spot where with a warm and dry weather window we will be able to it open as soon as the state gives us the green light.
Please feel free to RSVP on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1822730568053723/
If you are planning on attending, Little River State Park has not opened for the season yet, so we will be at the gate from 5:30-6:00 letting folks into the park. We will close and lock the gate at 6:00 per request from the State Parks. Please try and be there a bit early.
If this is your first-time doing trail work, it's a lot of fun and we will provide you with the tools you need. Just wear sturdy footwear you would go hiking in, and a pair of gloves. See you Wednesday Night!
PS did you know that thanks to all of our member's volunteer efforts, Vermont State Parks have agreed to include a State Park pass with your WATA membership! Join here: http://www.waterburytrails.com/sign-up
