The May meeting of the Calais and East Montpelier Historical Societies will be held at The Old Brick Church in EM Village, starting at 6 PM, with a potluck supper. Following the potluck, Steve Perkins, Dir. of Vermont Historical Society, will present a show about the large mural "Salute to Vermont", which was created by Paul Sample. It was recently moved from the Natl. Life Building to the VHS Museum in Montpelier, and is a must see. Mr. Perkins will also share ideas for our local societies.
All are welcome and we welcome new members.
