Danny & Colin have enthusiastically said YES to a return performance. Join us at Cafe as we enjoy their unique blend of bluegrass, country and blues that had everyone feeling energized and happy !
See Danny Coane of the Starline Rhythm Boys on acoustic rhythm guitar, and Colin McCaffrey of the Stone Cold Roosters on electric lead guitar. Enjoy some rockabilly swing and upbeat country music - and feel free to get up and dance !
Danny Coane:

has played countless venues and gigs
50-plus year career
has been in the Jesters, Throbulators and Chrome Cowboys, and many other bands
founded the Starline Rhythm Boys in 1998
Colin McCaffrey :
born in Brattleboro, Vermont
began playing piano, guitar and violin at a young age.
earned a BA in music composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston
lives in Central Vermont.
singer, songwriter and lover of strings,
plays roots music, swing, blues and country.
The Cafe is a social gathering where people in early to mid-stage memory loss disorders, and their care partners, can come together to connect and support one another in a relaxed, non-judgmental atmosphere. Participants enjoy social time and food, as well as activities and exercise. These may include art, music, dance and movement. (Please note that the Memory Cafe is not a drop-off or adult day care center. Each participant is expected to be accompanied by a care partner.)
Montpelier Memory Cafe meets the second Saturday of each month, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM, at Montpelier Senior Activity Center, 58 Barre Street in Montpelier. Call Liz at 229-9630 for more details.
People living with memory loss and their care partners are all invited to attend. The Montpelier Memory Café is for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related memory disorders. A care partner must accompany each participant. Admission to the Café is free, and MSAC membership is not required to attend.
