Jim Arnosky Storytelling Event for Childcare Providers

Storytelling event for all local childcare providers to bring their children to and each child will receive a free book to take home!

Tuesday May 16th 9:30am at the Greensboro Free Library

The storytelling event will be presented by Jim Arnosky, a renowned naturalist and the author and illustrator of many books for children about animals and nature, including the popular Crinkleroot series. His wife Deanna will be presenting as well. They live in South Ryegate, Vermont.

The program will highlight the Greensboro Free Library summer reading program and is designed to inspire children to read and write over the summer for pleasure.
This event is thanks to a CLiF grant which also allowed the Greensboro Free Library to
select $2,000 worth of new books for the library's children's collection as well as the Lakeview Union Elementary School library $500 worth of wonderful new books.
Jim and Deanna will also be at Lakeview Union Elementary school at 11am for a storytelling event for the children at the school, local homeschoolers are welcome.
