Global Weirding Event at South Hero Community Library

Data and observations from climate scientists tell us the planet is warming. Does human behavior bear responsibility? Can we even do anything about it?

Join the Grand Isle Climate Action Team to view and discuss video clips from the Global Weirding series by Dr. Katherine Hayhoe.

Dr. Hayhoe is an atmospheric scientist and director of the Climate Change Center at Texas Tech University. She is also an Evangelical Christian dedicated to better communicating the impact of our changing climate on agriculture, ecosystems, energy and public health.

Join us and bring a friend! Explore with us how we, as Champlain Islanders, can use climate science to protect our community, our economy, and Vermont from degradation in the face of a warming world.

Date: Tuesday, May 23, 2017
Time: 7:00 PM
