I help organize an event called the Epic Skill Swap that takes place in New Hampshire. Epic Skill Swap is a participatory weekend festival where you can learn new skills, share the skills you have, and spend a couple days in community with an amazing group of people in a beautiful outdoor setting. Workshops range from plant ID to running for public office, from carpentry to understanding the immigration system, and more!

This year we’ve scheduled two events. The first takes place over Memorial Day weekend (May 26-29), and the second happens in mid-June (June 9-12). Registration for the first weekend is scheduled to close at the end of the day THIS FRIDAY, May 12, but if you really want to come we can probably squeeze you in. Registration for the second weekend in June will close on Friday May 26. Tickets are offered on a sliding scale, from $40–$140. In the interest of transparency, our goal for the event is to break even and none of the organizers, including myself, receive any compensation for putting the event on.
