A Reuse, Repurpose & Recycle Sale at VFFC Saturday & Sunday May 20th & 21st

The Vermont Farmers Food Center (VFFC), home to the winter market, is opening its Farmers Hall doors the weekend May 20 and 21st from 9 am to 3 pm both days to host its first big gala of the summer season, a “Reuse, Repurpose & Recycle Sale” a fundraising event to support VFFC with their work in rebuilding & growing the agricultural economy of the region. A local food menu will be offered by the new volunteer VFFC Farmers kitchen crew being recruited for their new Farmers Hall Kitchen. With everybody downsizing these days, this is a great opportunity to show your support of VFFC and sell your “good stuff” you are not using. You can get together with neighbors & friends to reserve a space to sell or you can donate items to benefit VFFC in their sales with donation drop-offs to start at 3 pm on Wednesday May 17th at VFFC.

Indoor Vendor space fee is available $25.00 for both 1 and 2 days with all items to be removed from VFFC before 4 pm on Sunday. Vendor application forms for this event are also available at the Wednesday and Saturday markets. Vendor space will be available on a first come first serve basis and VFFC will be providing the publicity to market this first time event.

Vendors must provide their own tables with setup scheduled for Friday night and breakdown Sunday afternoon at 3 pm. After the sale at 4 pm on Sunday, Vermont Public Television will be there to show their new production "Local Motive" to culminate the weekend and celebrate supporting our local food economy which features several of our local farmers.
