On Saturday, May 13 at 7:00 pm at Barre’s Old Labor Hall, the Barre Historical Society presents “A Day's Work” – the story of a young man killed on his very first day as a temporary employee. The film raises serious concerns about the shift to a disposable, temporary workforce that endangers millions of workers. Part of Global Labor Film Festival, "A Day’s Work” is cosponsored by the Vermont Workers Center. Admission free and open to the public. Light refreshments available. For more information go to http://oldlaborhall.org/, email info@oldlaborhall.org, or call (802) 479-5600.
