Ilsley Public Library is excited to present an advance screening of __The State of Arizona__ on Wednesday, November 13th from 6:30-8:30 pm. Following the screening will be a panel discussion featuring representatives from the Migrant Justice Vermont, local clergy working to support undocumented workers’ rights, and the Middlebury Police Department.

__The State of Arizona__ captures the explosive emotions and complex realities behind Arizona’s headline-grabbing struggle with immigration issues. Following Arizona’s controversial Senate Bill 1070, dubbed the “show me your papers” law, the film tells the stories of Arizonans on all sides of this divisive issue from ground zero of the nation’s immigration debate.

This film is part of the Community Cinema project, a national civic engagement initiative featuring free screenings from the Emmy Award-winning PBS series Independent Lens, and is sponsored locally by Vermont Public Television. __The State of Arizona__ is the second of six films that will be shown at Ilsley through the spring of next year. Other screenings will include: Las Marthas on January 15th; The Trials of Muhammad Ali on February 12th; Medora on March 12th; and The New Black on June 11th. All screenings to start at 6:30 pm.
