The annual Five Sisters Neighborhood Plant Swap will take place this Sunday, May 14th (Mother's Day) from 2:00 to 3:30 in front of our house at 44 Catherine Street. Come at the beginning for best selection, as plants move out quickly.

If you're planning to remove or divide perennials, thin your garden beds, or if you have started seedlings indoors and have more than you need, consider bringing them to the plant swap. Also, if you are you looking for more plants for your garden, come to the Plant Swap! This is a free plant give-away, neighbor to neighbor. Please come and take plants even if you have none to swap. We are happy to send neighbors home with plants to establish their gardens.

Please label plants that you bring over, just in case they are hard to identify.

Here are some of the types of plants you may find: Lupine, Bleeding Hearts, Irises, Lily of the Valley, Day Lily, Daisies, Tomatoes, Strawberries, Raspberries, Ferns, Hostas, Lady's Mantle, Echinacea, Lemon Balm, Bee Balm, Phlox, Periwinkle, and so many more.
