Theatre Kavanah presents “Raise the Roof,” an extraordinary documentary capturing the journey of artists Rick and Laura Brown as they reconstruct the elaborate roof and painted ceiling of the Gwoździec, Poland synagogue. Follow their journey to recover what was lost at the hands of the Nazis, and learn how Burlington's own Lost Shul Mural plays a role in the cultural survival of eastern European Jews. A Q & A session with filmmakers Yari and Cary Wolinsky follows the screening.
