The East Montpelier and Calais Historical Societies will meet on Monday, May 15, at 6:00 p.m. at the Old Brick Church in E. Montpelier Village for a potluck supper, evening program and business meetings. Our speaker will be Steve Perkins, the Director of the Vermont Historical Society. Steve will present a show about Paul Sample, the artist who created the large historical mural called “Salute to Vermont” which was recently moved from the National Life Building to the VHS Museum in Montpelier. He will also help us explore ways to increase our membership, monthly participation and leadership capacities. Please bring your own place setting and a supper dish to share.
